David Vargas

I’m David Vargas, Founder and President of Varenza. I believe a home should be designed around the people who live in it—a place where families gather; memories are made, and life is lived. That’s the philosophy behind everything we do at Varenza.

My professional journey has been shaped by service, leadership, and a passion for helping people. I proudly served in the United States Armed Forces , including a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. My military experience taught me the importance of integrity, accountability, discipline, and putting others before myself—values that continue to guide both my life and my business.

After my military service, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Texas A&M University and an Associate degree in Computer Information Systems from Westchester Community College. I began my civilian career as an accountant with the New York Power Authority before transitioning into mortgage lending. During my 15-year career at a national bank, I had the privilege of leading high-performing teams as a VP Sales Manager, where I focused on developing people, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and achieving consistent results.

Over the years, I realized my true passion was helping families improve the places they call home. That passion inspired me to found Varenza—a company built on the belief that remodeling is more than construction. It’s about creating spaces that enhance everyday living, reflect each homeowner’s unique vision, and add lasting value for generations to come.

I founded Varenza with a clear purpose: to do more than remodel homes—to enhance them to reflect each client’s unique vision through thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship, and quality built to last for generations. Every project is approached with care, transparency, and a commitment to delivering an experience that is just as exceptional as the finished space.

Our vision is to become Charlotte’s most trusted name in home remodeling by designing homes around the people who live in them, creating spaces that stand the test of time, and giving back to the community we proudly serve.

At Varenza, success isn’t measured only by the beautiful homes we create. It’s measured by the relationships we build, the trust we earn, and the positive impact we leave behind. That’s why supporting Saint Gabriel Catholic Church and local animal shelters is an important part of who we are. Giving back to our community isn’t simply something we do—it’s part of our purpose.

When I’m not working with homeowners or leading our team, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Bibiana, and our two children. Together, we’ve built our family around faith, service, and the belief that success is most meaningful when it creates opportunities to serve others.
